Item notes
Plastic water bottle used by Marilyn Manson during the 28 May 2007 concert at PalaSharp in Milan, during the European leg of the Rape of the World Tour. The bottle was thrown by Manson from the stage into the audience and personally recovered at the show. It has been preserved since the concert inside a protective plastic sleeve, which bears a handwritten identification noting “M. Manson – Milano – 28/5/2007.” The object retains the crushing and deformation resulting from its original use and subsequent preservation. This was my second Marilyn Manson concert and the first object I ever caught directly from an artist during a show. For that reason, it has particular personal value within the collection.
