Pogo (Madonna Wayne Gacy), Personally Worn Dress

Lightweight pink spaghetti-strap dress with an all-over geometric pattern in shades of pink, purple and white, personally worn by Madonna Wayne Gacy (Pogo), original keyboardist and founding member of Marilyn Manson. I purchased the dress directly from Pogo, who inscribed the fabric with the dedication “To Matteo, MW Gacy”. The garment can be matched to a period photograph showing Pogo wearing the same dress. The distinctive print, cut and ruffled hem provide clear visual points of comparison. A further photograph documents Pogo holding the dress before it was sent to me. Its direct origin from Pogo’s personal wardrobe, handwritten dedication and photographic documentation make this a unique and particularly significant piece within the collection.
